Human beings are villagers, and in our modern world most of us have forgotten that. Most people don't live in a place with a village square, they are villagers living in grids, wondering what's missing in their lives and why they feel so empty. The conquistadors were lost, villagers conquered by the Romans and living in a grid. They thought they wanted gold, that gold would fill that void and make them happy, but it didn't. They captured other villagers, put them in grids, and the cycle goes on. In a way, the people, the real human beings masterminding these corporations are just lost children. Villagers without villages trying to fill the empty hole inside. That is the real tragedy. And it won't stop until we reclaim our communities and start loaning eggs and cups of sugar to our neighbors again. We need to remember what being a human being means. So much of this is so true, and it’s heartbreaking.

Is it possible that we live in such a cloud of unanswered questions? Can't we really look up at the night sky and just see stars?! So what if the Martians are landing - can they be any worse than the Chinese business wave that has secured a gross amount of America? And when will the American buying public stop thinking it is perfectly acceptable to continue to buy incessently and not produce anything? More questions! There we wallow in our discount mire and look to our elected proletariat only to find them subsidizing the very behemoths that have sold out our birthright. No answers! I guess I have answered my own question - the Midnight maurader had it right! It's all just a huge conundrum... never ending and without a break for answers anywhere in that dark and snowy night.
